[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The third-quarter earnings of the three major local financial holding companies are expected to be sluggish. BNK Financial's third-quarter earnings forecast was the lowest among local financial holding companies.

According to financial information provider FnGuide on the 18th, the net profit forecast for local financial holding companies (BNK·JB·DGBs) in the third quarter is estimated at 498.7 billion won. It decreased by 6.59% (35.2 billion won) from net profit (533.9 billion won) in the third quarter of last year. The figure is an estimate in a securities firm analyst's report for each financial holding company extracted by FnGuide and divided by the average.

The downward trend of BNK finance stands out. BNK Financial's net profit for the third quarter is expected to be 216.1 billion won. It decreased 19.16% (42 billion won) from last year (258.1 billion won).

JB Financial is expected to make a net profit of 159.5 billion won. It is a decrease of 4.49% (7.5 billion won) from last year (167 billion won). DGB Financial's expected net profit for the third quarter is 123.1 billion won. It increased by 13.14% (14.3 billion won) from last year (108.8 billion won).

KB Financial Group is expected to post a net profit of 1.3449 trillion won in the third quarter. It increased 5.79% (73.6 billion won) from last year (1.2713 trillion won).

On the other hand, Woori Finance's estimated net profit in the third quarter was 839.2 billion won, down 6.73% (60.6 billion won) from last year (899.8 billion won).
