KAI 'FA-50' first appearance at NATO event

[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The FA-50GF, exported by the Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) to Poland, is drawing attention as the next generation fighter in the European market.

KAI said on the 18th that the Polish Air Force FA-50GF participated in the "NATO North Atlantic Treaty Organization Days 2023" in Ostrava, the Czech Republic. FA-50GF was first introduced as Poland participated in NATO Days event as a special partner country this year.

This is the first time a domestic aircraft has attended a NATO event. In particular, it is said that the K-defense industry has increased its status with the achievement made a year after signing an FA-50 export contract with Poland in September last year.

The 23rd NATO Days event this year was held for two days from the 16th (local time). Sixteen NATO member states, including the host Czech Republic, the U.S. and Britain, as well as various military aircraft operated by Brazil, Austria and Switzerland, have been displayed, flown and trained.
