[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] U.S. aircraft maker Boeing announced on the 25th (local time) that Dave Calhoun CEO will step down in December this year.

Boeing was in crisis in terms of corporate trust on Jan. 5 due to the loss of trap door desorption and removal of the 737 Max from Alaska Airlines, which was flying.

Calhoun CEO, who had been CEO since October 2019, promised to revamp his corporate image but eventually became the second Boeing boss to leave the company before his term of office due to product quality and production issues.

Boeing's 737 Max crashed in 2018 and 2019, killing a total of 348 passengers.
