알파경제 - Exhuma surpassed 10 million viewers

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Director Jang Jae-hyun's "Exhuma" is the first film released this year to rank among 10 million films.

According to the distributor Showbox on the 24th, the cumulative number of viewers of 'Pamyo' exceeded 10 million this morning.

The record was achieved on the 32nd day of its release. "Exhuma," which topped the box office with its release on the 22nd of last month, ran toward the 10 million mark without giving up the top spot even for a single day.

It is the first time in three months since the birth of 10 million movies in local theaters since director Kim Sung-soo's "The Day" exceeded 10 million on Dec. 24 last year.

"Exhuma" became the 32nd 10 millionth movie ever released. It is the 23rd in terms of Korean movies alone.
