[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Seoul, South Korea – January 12, 2026 – Daniel, a former member of the K-pop group NewJeans, has opened a personal Instagram account under the handle @dazzibelle. As of this morning, the account has no posts and follows only one user – her older sister, Daniel Marsh, who is also pursuing a solo music career. Since its creation, the account has quickly gained over 140,000 followers.
During her time with NewJeans, Daniel did not maintain a personal social media account, relying solely on official accounts managed by her agency, ADOR. Following her departure from the group, she established her personal account to connect directly with fans.
The move comes amid an ongoing legal dispute. ADOR has filed a lawsuit seeking approximately KRW 43.1 billion (around USD 33 million) in damages against Daniel, her family members, and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. The case has been assigned to the same court that previously handled Min’s corporate stock dispute with HYBE.
ADOR stated that the lawsuit is aimed at holding Daniel and Min accountable for the circumstances that led to her departure from NewJeans and the delays in the group’s activities, asserting that the parties bear significant legal responsibility.
As the legal proceedings continue, Daniel’s personal Instagram account is rapidly attracting attention, reflecting significant fan interest in her post-NewJeans activities.
