Kumho Tire's labor and management agreed on a tentative wage deal

[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kumho Tire has agreed to a tentative wage deal between labor and management.

Kumho Tire said on the 22nd that it has reached a tentative agreement on wage negotiations in 2023 in its 14th main negotiations.


The tentative agreement will be finalized through a briefing session and a vote on the pros and cons.

Although no specific schedule has been set yet, a union briefing session on the day and the 23rd and a vote on the union's pros and cons are expected to be held to raise wages and pay incentives before Chuseok.

Kumho Tire's labor union earlier held a vote on the dispute between the 8th and 9th to approve the strike with 79.48 percent of its members (2,805 out of 3,529 in favor).
