[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Naver has integrated an AI search function into its AI agent service 'CLOVA X.' This move is aimed at testing the usability of the service before applying the 'AI Briefing' feature to integrated search in the first half of this year. Naver is rolling out its 'On Service AI' strategy, which will incorporate AI into all services, including search, shopping, and advertising.
Naver announced on Wednesday that it introduced the 'Information Search Assistant' feature to CLOVA X last month.
When users ask questions in a conversational format, the AI collects information via internet search to assist with research tasks.
Before fully implementing AI search, Naver introduced this feature to validate its usability. CLOVA X also includes specialized functions such as the 'Document Understanding Assistant,' which summarizes and organizes documents, and the 'AI Eraser,' which removes unwanted objects from images. Since last month, Naver has been analyzing the pros and cons of AI search through the 'Information Search Assistant' feature.
