[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SEOUL, October 29, 2025 — K-pop icon G-DRAGON, a member of the globally renowned group BIGBANG, will take the stage at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit welcome dinner to be held in Gyeongju, South Korea.
According to his agency Galaxy Corporation, G-DRAGON — currently serving as an APEC promotional ambassador — is scheduled to perform on October 31 at the Rahan Hotel Grand Ballroom in Gyeongju during a cultural program attended by heads of state and senior officials from 21 APEC member economies.
Galaxy Corporation stated, “As the only K-pop artist invited to perform at the event, G-DRAGON will showcase the global influence of Korean culture and contribute to the successful hosting of the summit.”
Appointed as APEC promotional ambassador in July, G-DRAGON has actively participated in promotional campaigns for the international summit. A video featuring G-DRAGON and other leading Korean stars promoting APEC has already surpassed 19 million views worldwide.
“Despite his busy schedule with the U.S. world tour, G-DRAGON showed great enthusiasm by traveling between Korea and the United States to film the promotional video,” the agency added.
