[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Seoul, Korea – August 31, 2025 – BigHit Music, the agency of global K-pop group BTS, has officially addressed recent dating rumors involving member Jimin (30) and actress Song Da-eun (34).

In a statement, the company explained:

"Out of respect for the other party, we have refrained from making any comments. However, given the ongoing speculation and unfounded rumors, we feel it is necessary to clarify the basic facts. Jimin and Ms. Song had a personal connection in the past, but this was several years ago. They are not in a relationship at present."

The rumors surfaced on August 27, when Song uploaded a TikTok video showing Jimin in an elevator, which quickly drew public attention. While the agency initially remained silent, it has now confirmed that the two were briefly involved in the past but emphasized that they are no longer together.

BigHit Music further urged the public to refrain from excessive speculation:
"We kindly request that people avoid making groundless assumptions regarding the artist’s private life. Please also refrain from actions that could cause harm to individuals mentioned alongside our artists."

Song Da-eun gained recognition through the 2018 reality show Heart Signal 2 and has appeared in several dramas, including Can’t Lose and Once Again. Jimin, who completed his military service in June, is preparing for BTS’s anticipated group comeback in spring 2026.
