[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Samsung Electronics is working with Naver to develop generative artificial intelligence (AI) services such as ChatGPT’ exclusively for executives and employees of the semiconductor (DS) division.
When this service comes out, it is expected that DS executives and employees will be able to use AI chatbots for their work and increase productivity without worrying about confidential information leakage.
According to industry sources, Samsung Electronics and Naver are developing generative AI’ services exclusively for the DS sector. The goal is to release it within this year. It is expected to be the first example of a domestic enterprise AI service. Naver is collaborating with Samsung Electronics through Naver Cloud, an affiliate that is actually in charge of AI business.
If Samsung Electronics' exclusive generative AI service is developed, it is predicted that it will be able to increase productivity by utilizing generative AI for work without security concerns.
