[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] CERAGEM announced on the 10th that it collected 750.1 billion won in consolidated sales last year, up 12.4% from the previous year. It has set a new record for the largest sales since its foundation.
However, consolidated operating profit decreased by 45.2% year-on-year to 50.6 billion won. This is due to worsening external conditions such as rising raw material costs, labor costs and the economic slowdown caused by higher interest rates.
Domestic sales reached 604.8 billion won, up 18.5% from 510.2 billion won last year. The flagship product Master V6, launched in December 2021, exceeded 600 billion won in cumulative sales in one year and five months.
Global sales fell 7.5 percent on-year to 145.2 billion won due to China's blockade of COVID-19 and the economic slowdown. U.S. sales rose 67.5% year-on-year due to the expansion of direct stores and the launch of new products.
