[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Yongin, South Korea – October 1 – Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced that its newly launched “K-Pop Demon Hunters” (KDH) theme zone, developed in collaboration with Netflix, has drawn an explosive response, attracting over 10,000 visitors in just five days since opening.

The animated series K-Pop Demon Hunters, which follows a K-pop girl group battling evil spirits across iconic Korean landmarks, has become a global sensation. The Everland theme zone brings this universe to life with photo zones, mission games, themed food & beverage (K-Bunsik), and OST-based attractions, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the characters such as “Huntrix” and “Lion Boys.”

According to Everland, since the grand opening on September 26, eager fans—both domestic and international—have lined up every morning in “open runs” to experience the zone firsthand. Visitors of all ages have been seen dressing in replica stage costumes of Huntrix and Lion Boys, posing for photos, and dancing to KDH soundtrack hits like Golden and Soda Pop, creating a festive atmosphere across the park.

The collaboration also features exclusive limited-edition merchandise available only at Everland. Since the goods shop opened on September 26, more than 10,000 items across 38 product lines have already been sold. Popular items include character-themed keyrings and hairpins, while embroidered hats featuring the character “Duppy” sold out in the first batch, prompting additional production orders.

The phenomenon has even caught the attention of international media outlets, including Reuters and AFP, which covered the theme zone’s debut with on-site reporting.
