[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LG Household & Health Care announced on the 4th that the average sales of Naver brand store this month of premium laundry detergent brand 'FiJi' increased by 51% year-on-year.
The company analyzed the results of Naver's arrival guarantee service in January this year in collaboration with Naver.
Naver's arrival guarantee service is a service that delivers ordered products by 12 p.m. by the next day, competing with Coupang's rocket delivery.
Earlier, LG Household & Health Care is at odds with Coupang over the discount policy Coupang has not been selling products since 2019.
In the case of detergents, it is considered a category with a high proportion of online sales due to its large volume. LG Household & Health Care intends to increase sales in earnest through Naver's arrival guarantee service instead of Coupang rocket delivery.
An LG Household & Health Care official said, "The close cooperation with Naver made it possible for customers to receive the product as soon as possible."
CJ CheilJedang also joined hands with Naver to focus on selling "Hatban" after withdrawing some of its products such as instant rice and frozen dumplings from Coupang, which was at odds over delivery prices at the end of last year.
