[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] Daily necessities and food prices sold at convenience stores and large discount stores will rise one after another as early as the 18th. After the April 10 general elections, manufacturers, which had been wary of the government, started to raise prices.

According to four large convenience stores, CU, GS25, 7-Eleven and E-Mart 24, the price of Monami's 153 ballpoint pens will rise by 100 won (33%) from 300 won to 400 won from the 1st of next month. The Toruko face razor is raised by 200 won (10.5%) from 1,900 won to 2,100 won.

Prices of daily necessities sold by three marts, E-Mart, Lotte Mart and Homeplus, will also rise one after another. Twelve fabric softener pigeons will be raised by 10-20% and 12 sanitary pads by 6-7%, respectively. Although the timing of the increase varies from company to company, the company plans to release the product at an increased price as early as the 18th.

Consumer sales prices such as snacks, processed seaweed and jjajang ramen are also expected to rise next month.
