[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The government will send a "One Team Korea" support group to help companies win large-scale Saudi Arabian projects.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said today (21st) that Minister Won Hee-ryong will lead a support group to Saudi Arabia from today to the 25th.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction has provided government-level support ahead of its final contract for Saudi Arabia's "Amiral Project," which is expected to be worth 5 billion dollars (about 6.4,000 trillion won).

Minister Won will arrive in Saudi Arabia on the 22nd to meet with government officials such as the Minister of Urban and Rural Housing and the Minister of Energy to discuss ways to cooperate in the construction infrastructure and plant sectors.

It also supports companies' business agreements (MOUs) and contract agreements.

Daeyoung Chaebi, a charging facility manufacturer, will sign an MOU with a Saudi charging company (icharge) to expand its electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.

Naver will discuss follow-up projects under the digital transformation cooperation MOU signed in March with the Saudi Ministry of Urban and Rural Housing.
