Kyungdong Pharmaceutical was fined 15.5 billion won

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kyungdong Pharmaceutical announced on the 27th that it received a fine of 15.5 billion won from the Central Regional Tax Office. It is equivalent to 6.03% of equity capital. The fines were imposed due to an integrated corporate tax investigation.

Kyungdong Pharmaceutical said, "The amount to be assessed is the sum of the estimated amount of notice, including additional tax, as stated in the notice notified as a result of the tax investigation, and is scheduled to be paid within the deadline."

Kyungdong Pharmaceutical also said, "If there are any objections, we will respond to objections by filing complaints or filing objections under related laws within the legal application deadline."
