Six European companies decide to invest 1.2 trillion won in Korea

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Six major European companies, including French mining company Imerys, will invest a total of 1.2 trillion won in South Korea.

It is a way to build renewable energy-related facilities such as secondary batteries and offshore wind power in Korea.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said on the 21st that it held an investment declaration ceremony worth a total of 940 million dollars (about 1.2 trillion won) with six European-based companies in Paris, France.

The six companies are ▷ Imeris ▷ material technology company Yumicore (Umicore· Belgium) ▷ auto parts company Continental (Continental· Germany) ▷ nylon-based company Nyloncast (Nylacast· UK) ▷ Norwegian state-run energy company Equinor ▷ green energy investment operator CIP (Denmark).
