[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Shares of YG Entertainment, the agency, fell amid reports that Lisa, a member of girl group BLACKPINK, is uncertain about her renewal.

On the KOSDAQ market on the 12th, YG Entertainment closed at 74,300 won, down 4,600 won (5.83%) from the previous day.

Shares of YG Entertainment rose to KRW 80,500 with a strength of 2% at the beginning of the market, but turned downward in the morning after news that the renewal with Lisa, one of the four members of Black Pink, was unclear. Stock prices once fell to 72,000 won, down 8% during the day.

BLACKPINK, which debuted in August 2016, will expire its exclusive contract in August. The Munhwa Ilbo reported that "the renewal of YG Entertainment and the three members is going smoothly, but Lisa is likely to leave YG."

YG Entertainment has not discussed the schedule with Lisa's Chinese agency since August. Based on this, it was speculated that the renewal of Lisa was difficult.

Regarding Lisa's schedule in China, YG explained, "It's because of her Blackpink tour and personal schedule, and it has nothing to do with whether she signed the contract or not."
