[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] GS Engineering & Construction has carried out a large-scale reorganization.

GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 16th that it had reorganized its organization a month earlier than usual. It is the will to reform the organizational atmosphere through this reorganization. Through performance-based personnel, the company plans to strengthen autonomous management system by headquarters and strengthen future competitiveness through reorganization to improve company-wide quality.

GS Engineering & Construction has launched a major personnel reshuffle first. It has appointed 17 new executives, three times more than the previous year. It also carried out an unprecedented personnel reshuffle to replace some 20 existing headquarters-level chiefs. In addition to the internal promotion of executives in their 40s who broke the existing framework, the company has created a bold foundation for generational change as young executives through outside recruitment.

In particular, the personnel emphasized that the appointment of performance-based personnel was conducted through a comprehensive personnel review process based on objective data such as work performance and organizational contribution. Through this process, we are determined to emphasize the culture of leading organizations and achievements based on the autonomous management of selected organizational leaders.

The business organizations and performance organizations, which had been divided into six divisions and nine headquarters, were merged into 10 headquarters. It is explained that it has been reorganized into a system that can respond quickly to issues.

It plans to actively respond to quality issues by appointing a large number of experienced "field" professionals who are the basis of the construction industry as executives.
