[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Choi Yoon-jung, head of SK Biopharm's strategic investment team (34, photo), the eldest daughter of SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won, will become an executive. SK Group has started the management of the third generation.

Choi is the third generation of SK, who leads Choi Jong-hyun and Choi Tae-won. He majored in biology at the University of Chicago in the U.S., where Choi graduated. Later, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Brain Science at the University of Chicago and as a consultant at Bain & Company He joined SK Biopharm's management strategy team as a senior manager in 2017. After taking a leave of absence in 2019, he earned a master's degree in biometrics from Stanford University in the U.S. and returned to the company in July 2021. In January, he was promoted to head of the strategic investment team at SK Biopharm's Global Investment Headquarters.
Meanwhile, Choi's second daughter, Choi Min-jung (32), joined SK Hynix in 2019 as an assistant manager and took a leave of absence early last year while working in the strategic part of the US corporation. Choi In-geun (28), the eldest son, is taking management classes at SK E & S' North American energy solution business corporation, 'PassKey'.
