[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kakao Games announced on the 20th that it has collaborated with Samsung Electronics and Google to provide a game experience optimized for its new multi-access role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Ares: Rise of Guardians'.

It is to provide high-performance play optimized for the Galaxy smartphone environment through collaboration between the three companies in charge of content, device, and operating system (OS).

Samsung Electronics and Kakao Games applied the latest 3D graphics API (app programming interface) 'Vulcon' to Ares and optimized it.

It is to provide optimized performance to Galaxy smartphone users such as Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 and Galaxy S23 series. As a result, the company explained that it has provided a stable frame compared to existing graphics APIs, such as reducing memory usage during games.

Google applied the 'Adaptive Performance' solution to Ares in collaboration with Kakao Games. Through this, the performance has been improved by continuously maintaining a high number of frames during the game.

Ares ranked No. 1 in popularity and No. 2 in sales on the Google Play Store just one day after its launch on the 25th of last month.
