[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Lee Bok-hyun, director of the Financial Supervisory Service, appointed three vice presidents on November 11.

The newly appointed deputy directors are Park Chung-hyun, director of the Bank Inspection 1, Hwang Sun-oh, director of the Capital Market Supervision Bureau, and Kim Joon-hwan, director of the Bank Supervision Bureau. Their term of office is from the 12th of this month to July 11, 2026.

This personnel reshuffle has filled the vacancy of executives and appointed the best person for the stability and efficiency of the organization in consideration of work continuity and expertise.

In particular, it is expected that the head of the department in the sector where important supervisory issues are concentrated will be appointed as an executive in charge to cope with the current tasks more efficiently and promote financial market stability.

Meanwhile, department heads and team leaders will also be promptly promoted to ensure that there is no work gap within the minimum extent accompanied by executive personnel appointments.
