GS Group replaced the CEOs of four affiliates

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Group has appointed 50 new executives, including four CEOs. It is the largest since its foundation.

GS Group said on the 29th that it has appointed a total of 50 executives, including four new CEOs, one president promotion, two vice president promotions, 10 executive promotions, 31 senior directors and two transfers. The personnel reshuffle will be finalized after a board meeting by affiliates.

GS Group explained, "This personnel focused on selecting working-level people who have developed expertise in the business field and prospective managers who have been fostered through key positions in order to promote reorganization and continuous business innovation."

As a result, each representative of GS Caltex, GS Power, and GS Entech were newly appointed. Including GS Engineering & Construction, which carried out executive appointments last month, a total of four representatives of affiliates have been changed.

Kim Sung-min, executive vice president of GS Caltex, will be promoted to vice president and move to the Chief Safety Officer (CSEO) and head of each representative and production division. Yoo Jae-young, vice president of GS Caltex's finance office, will move to GS Power to serve as CEO. Jung Yong-han, director of production at GS Entech, was promoted to executive director and appointed as CEO.

Heo Yoon-hong, president of GS Engineering & Construction's Future Innovation Representative (CInO), has been appointed as a representative through personnel appointments last month. Huh is the son of Huh Chang-soo, honorary chairman of GS Group.

GS Group said that a large number of internal talents with extensive field experience were promoted to promote the new business.

As a result, a large number of people who led the initial growth of GS Group, including GS Caltex President Lee Doo-hee and Kim Hyung-kook, GS Power President Cho Hyo-je, GS Retail President Kim Ho-sung, GS Engineering & Construction Vice Chairman Lim Byung-yong and President Woo Moo-hyun, have retired.
