[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] DL Construction refuted the report that it was the company with the highest number of apartment complex defect judgments over the past five years, saying it was not true.
DL Engineering & Construction released an explanation on the 5th that DL Engineering & Construction ranked No. 1 in the industry with 899 cases in the "Status of Judgment on Apartment Housing Defects by Construction Companies from 2019 to 2023" received from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 3rd.
According to DL Engineering & Construction, the number of official cases that have been judged as final defects by the Defect Review Dispute Mediation Committee (HASIM) is 11 in total based on the number of households (number of cases). He explained that it was six cases in 2019, five cases in 2020, zero cases in 2021, zero cases in 2022 and zero cases as of 2023. It was explained that a total of 51 cases were based on the number of detailed cases (the number of defects).
Based on this, DL Engineering & Construction says it is not true that 899 cases have been judged to be defective in the past five years from 2019 to the present. The number of defect decisions from 2019 to August 2022 can be found in the data on the status of determining apartment defects over the past five years of the 'top 20 construction companies in the construction capacity evaluation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport' as of 2021.
