Kakao management refutes allegations of corruption in bidding

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] In a joint statement posted on Kakao's internal computer network on the 29th, Oh Ji-hoon, vice president of the Asset Development Office, which oversees Kakao's real estate development, and 11 employees claimed that the selection of the Ansan Data Center and Seoul Arena was fair.

He also stressed that the process of developing idle land in Jeju Island was also carried out after approval from management, including Bae Jae-hyun, head of investment management.

Meanwhile, Kakao Crew Union, Kakao's labor union, called on the Compliance and Trust Commission, an independent body, to investigate golf membership and salary imbalances disclosed by Kim in a statement posted on its in-house bulletin board.
