[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Supernal, Hyundai Motor Group's U.S. urban air mobility (UAM) independent corporation, will supply UAM aircraft to Korean Air. This is the first time Supernal has supplied UAM aircraft to a domestic airline.

Supernal unveiled the new UAM gas interior concept model, which is being developed for commercialization in 2028 through ADEX 2023, for the first time in Korea.

The concept model, which was unveiled this time, was completed intuitively and sophisticatedly by using the car's built-in design instead of the existing aircraft design. The five-seat seat design, which resembles a butterfly biostructure, is distinctly different from conventional aviation mobility. Analysts say that sustainability has also been increased by applying a large number of eco-friendly materials such as high-tech carbon fiber that can be recycled.

Supernal runs a video experience zone with Seoul in the background. In a separate business space, we will welcome domestic aviation industry partners.
