[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Golf Zone has been opposed by paid subscription members as it has decided to reduce its hole-in-one insurance coverage, which is included in its paid subscription service "G Membership Premium," to the 1st of next month.

This is because the company appears to have unilaterally reduced the right to enjoy for members who have joined paid membership led by hole-in-one insurance coverage.

Golf Zone said that it is difficult to tell the details due to internal policy changes.

According to the industry on the 18th, Golf Zone sent a notice to G membership premium members that it will exclude hole-in-one insurance if there is a hole-in-one in less than three courses for each screen golf course from February 1.

The G-membership premium, introduced by Golf Zone in July last year, is a paid membership that adds △ screen and field hole-in-one insurance △ screen mileage △ GDR Academy to the existing "G-membership" service. The G membership premium subscription fee is about 9,900 won per month (100,000 won per year, 15% discount).

Among the G membership premium benefits, hole-in-one insurance covers the limit of 1 million won and 200,000 won once a year, respectively, when a hole-in-one is recorded on the field and screen.

The field hole-in-one included the cost of a celebratory round and a souvenir purchase within three months of the hole-in-one date. The screen supports the cost of dinner and rounding in the screen golf course of a golf game where a hole-in-one occurred within seven days of the screen hole-in-one. Members who enjoy fields and screens at the same time can receive up to 1.2 million won in benefits.

Golf Zone said it wants to provide an environment where customers can enjoy more premium screen golf and field golf by launching a G-membership premium, adding that it will expand its service in the future so that they can experience the joy of golf.
