[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LG Energy Solutions announced on the 21st that Vertech, a local corporation established by LG Energy Solution to target the US ESS (energy storage device) market, has won an 10GWh (Gigawatt hour) ESS power grid project in the United States for about two years since its launch.

LG Energy Solutions Vertech was founded in February last year after LG Energy Solutions acquired NEC Energy Solutions, a US ESS SI company. ESS SI is a field that provides ESS business planning, design, installation, maintenance, and repair.

LG Energy Solutions supplied the world's largest battery of 1.2GWh based on a single power grid site to US power generation company Vistra in 2021. In June this year, a new residential ESS brand "enblock" was unveiled at the world's largest ESS exhibition "EES (Electrical Energy Storage) Europe 2023" in Munich, Germany.

Vertech will also deploy its own AEROS (AEROS) software on all sites where ESS is installed.
