[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Lotte Cultureworks, which operates multiplex Lotte Cinema and investment and distribution company Lotte Entertainment, is restructuring its workforce.

According to the industry on the 5th, Lotte Culture Works has been applying for voluntary retirement for employees with more than three years of service since the 29th of last month. This is the third time Lotte Cultureworks has implemented voluntary retirement since 2020 and 2021.

Lotte Cultureworks posted an operating profit of 3 billion won in the third quarter, down 85.1% from 21 billion won a year earlier. Overseas, local works in Vietnam did not succeed and turned into deficits.
