[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 23rd that it held a Shinhan Futures Lab Demo Day 2023 event under the theme of "SUM THING DIFFERENT" at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 22nd.

Shinhan Futures Lab Demo Day 2023 is an event to commemorate the end of the training process of the 9th Shinhan Futures Lab start-ups, Shinhan Financial Group's startup acceleration program, and to share their achievements.

"It is important for new values created by Shinhan Financial Group and startups to be ultimately chosen by customers," Shinhan Financial Group Chairman Jin Ok-dong said in a welcoming speech. "Shinhan Financial Group will continue to be a strong partner in the innovation journey of startups toward the goal of 'customer-centered'."

The theme of the demo day, "SUM THING DIFFERENT," means a special synergy created by different groups called Shinhan Financial Group and startups by utilizing "SUM," the total function of Excel.

The event was attended by various start-up officials, including venture capital, investors, related agencies and prospective start-ups, along with representatives of 28 start-ups that participated in the ninth term of Shinhan Futures Lab and Shinhan Financial Group, which participated in fostering Futures Lab.
