[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Square announced on August 8 that it sold its entire stake in NanoEntek, a medical in vitro diagnostic device manufacturer, to Aplus Life, a subsidiary of Aplus Asset.

The shares sold are 7,606,490 common shares, or 28.35% of the total number of NanoEntek-issued shares.

A total of 51.5 billion won was also deposited into SK Square.

Earlier, SK Square and Aplus Life signed a stock trading contract on July 12 and set the expected date for the transaction to be closed on September 12. The deal was closed with an earlier schedule.

SK Square completed the sale of NanoEntek and secured a total of more than 1 trillion won in cash inflow in the third quarter of this year.

SK Square plans to invest in new overseas semiconductors in the second half of this year by raising funds for new investments.
