[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Hyundai Motor is recalling 568,576 Palisade SUVs in the United States due to a potential airbag malfunction, Newsweek reported on January 29 (local time).

According to the report, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the third-row side curtain airbags may fail to deploy properly and that authorities are currently working to identify a remedy.

Separately, Hyundai will recall an additional 41,651 vehicles in the U.S. due to an instrument cluster display malfunction. Regulators said the issue is expected to be resolved through a software update.
