[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, will acquire Flux Software Engineering, a global audio software company.

Harman's professional audio division, Professional Solutions, announced on the 9th (local time) that it will acquire Flux of France. The acquisition will be completed within this year.

Flux, based in France, is an audio software company founded in 2006. We have about 20 product portfolios for audio analysis and audio processing, including immersive audio production.

Harman's acquisition is seen as an investment to strengthen its competitiveness in the future. We plan to increase our competitiveness by combining professional solution products with Flux's audio technology solution.
