[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The securities and derivatives trading market opens at 10 am on the day of College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
The Korea Exchange said on the 2nd that it will delay the start and end of trading in the KOSPI, KOSDAQ and KONEX markets by one hour on the 16th. The regular trading hours, which are from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will be changed from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The volume and basket sales of after-hours markets, which will be held before the opening, will also be changed from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., an hour later than before. After the end of the market, single-price transactions will start from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., while bulk and basket transactions will start at 4:40 p.m., but the closing time will remain at 6 p.m.
The night market, where KOSPI 200 futures and US dollar futures are traded, will be postponed from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the closing time (5 a.m. the next day) will be maintained. The Geum market opens at 10 o'clock, an hour late, and closes at 3:30 p.m. as usual.
The trading hours of the oil market (from 10 am to 5 pm) and emission rights markets remain unchanged.
