[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] eBEST Investment & Securities Co. and LS Networks Co. jumped together on news of the financial authorities' approval to change their major shareholders.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 22nd, it closed at 4,300 won on the 19th, up 11.98% from the previous trading day of eBEST Investment & Securities. At the beginning of the market, stock prices rose more than 26%. LS Networks also closed at 4,975 won, up 24.84%.
The sharp rise in eBEST Investment & Securities and LS Networks on the same day is attributed to the news that the Financial Services Commission has completed approval of major shareholder changes. At a regular meeting on the 18th, the Financial Services Commission voted to change the majority shareholder of eBEST Investment & Securities from G & A Private Equity Investment Company (G & A) to LS Networks. LS Networks is the largest investor with a 98.8% stake in G & A PEF and G & A PEF is the largest shareholder with a 61.71% stake in eBEST Investment & Securities.
By the authorities' decision, LS Networks will take over the entire stake in eBEST Investment & Securities held by G & A PEF. The industry predicts that the mission may change after eBEST Investment & Securities is incorporated into LS Group.
