[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LS Electric supplies 120 billion won worth of power facilities to renewable energy generation complexes in the United States.

According to the industry on the 25th, LS Electric will deliver a transformer worth 86.8 billion won to the US renewable energy complex. It was announced on the 9th as an order for a power supply system to the United States.

LS Electric's transformers will be used to convert electricity produced in power plants to high pressure. The higher the pressure, the higher the transmission efficiency from power plants to power demand areas.

It is the first time that LS Electric has delivered tens of billions of won worth of transformers to the US market. In the United States, more than 75% of transformers are older than 25 years old. The construction of renewable energy power plants is also expected to increase, which is expected to increase demand for transformers.

LS Energy Solution, a subsidiary of LS Electric, supplies about 30 billion won in energy storage (ESS) and power devices to the same project. LS Electric has won about 120 billion won in orders including transformers and ESSs at renewable energy generation complexes in the United States.
