[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin received about 17.7 billion won in annual salary from Lotte Holdings and its major affiliates last year, the report showed.
According to Lotte Holdings' business report on the 20th, Chairman Shin received a total of 6.449 billion won in compensation last year, including 3.83 billion won in salary, 2.617 billion won in bonuses and 2 million won in other earned income. This is up 4.6% from 2022 (6.165 billion won).
Earlier, Shin received 3.83 billion won from Lotte Chemical, 3.093 billion won from Lotte Chilsung Beverage, 2.443 billion won from Lotte Well Food and 1.9 billion won from Lotte Shopping, respectively.
Chairman Shin received 17.715 billion won in total remuneration from Lotte Holdings and four listed affiliates last year.
Shin is also being paid by unlisted companies such as Hotel Lotte and Lotte C&T. The two companies have not submitted their business reports yet.
