[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] KT withdraws from non-fungible token (NFT) platform business.

According to the industry on the 26th, KT is scheduled to end the NFT issuance and management platform 'Mincle' on March 4.

Minkle is a platform that KT first introduced as a beta service in April 2022. At the time of its first launch, about 8,000 people applied for advance notifications, which made it popular and expected.

However, as the number of users gradually decreases, it seems that KT is closing down the business due to difficulties in activating the platform.
