Eastar Jet carrying 146 passengers diverted after colliding with a bird

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] An Eastar Jet flight from Cheongju to Taipei, Taiwan, collided with a tide while taking off from Cheongju International Airport and returned.

According to Eastar Jet on the 26th, Flight ZE781, which departed from Cheongju Airport at around 11:50 p.m. the previous day, returned after a bird-strike occurred shortly after takeoff.

There were 146 passengers on board and no one was injured. It left around 8:10 a.m. on the same day, about eight hours later.
