[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Eco-Pro materials weakened two days in a row due to uncertainties over the inclusion of Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) in the Korea Index.

According to the Korea Exchange, on the 23rd, Eco-Promity closed at 170,000 won, down 22,000 won (11.46%) from the previous trading day.

During the market, the KRW 170,000 level collapsed as it fell 11.93% to KRW 169,100. It also fell more than 11% on the previous day.

It is believed to affect investor sentiment as securities firms predict that the inclusion of the Korean index is uncertain due to low floating ratios.

MSCI will announce a change in the composition of the Korea Index on the 13th of next month. Every February, May, August, and November, MSCI determines the inclusion and shipment items in consideration of the market capitalization and liquid market capitalization of the component items.

On the other hand, besides Eco-Pro materials, EcoPro (1.36%), EcoProBM (3.43%), and EcoProHen (1.51%) were all weak.
