Doosan Bobcat is building a new factory in Mexico

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] Doosan Bobcat is building a new plant in Mexico to meet the ever-increasing demand for construction equipment products in the North American market. This is the first time Doosan Group has built a production plant in Mexico.

Doosan Bobcat announced on the 14th that it held a ground-breaking event for a small loader production plant in Monterey, Mexico.

Doosan Bobcat plans to invest about 400 billion won (300 million dollars) to build a 65,000-square-meter plant with the aim of completing it in 2026. It plans to produce a small loader of Doosan Bobcat's steady seller, the M-Series, and supply it to the North American market.

Doosan Bobcat's demand for products has also increased as its appearance has doubled over the past five years. In particular, it decided to establish a new plant in Mexico to meet the ever-increasing demand for construction equipment in the North American market.

When the new plant in Mexico is in operation, Doosan Bobcat's production capacity for loader products in the North American market is expected to increase by about 20%. Doosan Bobcat's global production base will also be expanded to eight countries, including South Korea, the United States, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, India and China.
