[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Shares of HYBE fell sharply following BTS’s highly anticipated comeback performance, as attendance came in below expectations.

According to Bloomberg on March 23, HYBE’s stock declined after the BTS comeback concert held in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun failed to attract the projected number of fans.

As of 3:20 p.m., HYBE shares were down 15.55% at 291,000 won, after briefly dropping as low as 286,000 won earlier in the session.

HYBE had initially expected around 260,000 fans to attend the March 21 event. However, the company later announced that actual attendance was approximately 100,000.
