According to industry sources on March 17, the disruption began at around 3:30 p.m. and lasted for approximately 30 minutes before services returned to normal.

At one point during the outage, the KakaoBank app displayed a waiting queue of up to 100,000 users, with estimated wait times of around 20 minutes.
