Lotte Mart's disposable dishes and bowls are being recalled due to non-compliance with polypropylene standards

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Lotte Mart's own trademark (PB) products, disposable plates and bowls, have been declared unsuitable for polypropylene standards and are being suspended and recalled.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said on the 3rd that Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province, is recalling two products due to the nonconformity of the standard for the total output of polypropylene.

The total output refers to the total amount of polypropylene that can come out when food containers, sanitary products, etc. are melted.

The products of the dish are 15 14cm products, and the manufacturing date is November 17, 2023, and the bowl product contains 10 15cm products, and the manufacturing date is November 10, 2023.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety asked consumers who purchased the product to return it to the store subject to recall.
