According to industry sources, errors occurred, such as the absence of search results in the Naver map application for about 84 minutes from 7:01 p.m.
It is understood that an error occurred in the application interface (API) that works during location exploration. Naver completed the emergency recovery at 8:25 p.m.
"There were difficulties in temporarily searching the location of users due to an API error," a Naver official said. "We completed the restoration at 8:25 p.m. through an emergency inspection, and we are sorry for the inconvenience in using the service."
