[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] SEOUL, October 30, 2025 — Samyang Foods Co., Ltd. announced that it has increased the supply price of its flagship Buldak Ramen products sold through major U.S. retailers, including Walmart, starting this month.
The company said the price adjustment follows the 15% reciprocal tariff imposed in August, which significantly affected import costs. As a result, Samyang Foods raised its wholesale supply price by 9% for U.S. distributors.
Consequently, the retail price of a five-pack Buldak Ramen at Walmart has risen from USD 6.88 to USD 7.84, marking a 14% increase. The final consumer price reflects both the adjusted supply rate and local retail margins.
Samyang Foods stated that it will continue monitoring market conditions while maintaining stable overseas supply and brand competitiveness despite global tariff pressures.
