[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] APR announced on May 3 that it has been selected as one of TIME’s “100 Most Influential Companies of 2026,” becoming the only South Korean company on this year’s list and the first Korean beauty firm ever to be included.
TIME compiles the annual ranking based on nominations from global correspondents, editors, and industry experts, evaluating companies across impact, innovation, and leadership. The list is divided into five categories: Titans, Leaders, Innovators, Disrupters, and Pioneers.
APR was named in the “Titans” category alongside major global players such as Alphabet, Nvidia, Meta, and SpaceX.
The publication described APR as “a company leading the next wave of global K-beauty growth,” highlighting its strong financial performance and international expansion. The company surpassed $1 billion in annual revenue in 2025, with overseas sales accounting for 80% of total revenue—up 25 percentage points from the previous year.
TIME also noted the global success of APR’s flagship brand Medicube, which has built a strong consumer following in markets including the United States. Medicube ranked No. 1 in the beauty category during Amazon Prime Day 2025 and is now available in more than 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores across the U.S.
An APR spokesperson said the recognition reflects the company’s innovation in beauty technology and growing global competitiveness, adding that it aims to continue evolving into a leading global anti-aging brand.
