Hyundai Glovis Signs MOU with BYD, China's Largest Electric Vehicle Manufacturer

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] On the 25th, Hyundai Glovis announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BYD, China’s largest electric vehicle producer, for "strategic collaboration in logistics and finished vehicle maritime transport."

The signing ceremony was held on the 23rd at BYD’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, and was attended by Kim Tae-woo, Head of Hyundai Glovis' Shipping Business Division, and Wang Junbao, Head of BYD's Shipping Division.

Under the agreement, the two companies will explore cooperation in areas such as global container logistics operations and joint utilization of Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs).
