Doosan Robotics to Merge with Doosan Bobcat After Becoming Its Subsidiary

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan Robotics will incorporate Doosan Bobcat as a subsidiary this November before proceeding with a merger. This move aims to enhance business synergy and management efficiency.

According to the Doosan Group on the 21st, Doosan Robotics will merge with Doosan Bobcat, which it will soon acquire as a subsidiary. The group has decided to transfer the 46% stake in Doosan Bobcat held by Doosan Enerbility and the remaining 54% held by general shareholders to Doosan Robotics, making it a 100% subsidiary. Following the completion of this procedure, the two companies will be merged.

The merger is expected to fully integrate the collaborative robot business and the construction machinery business, thereby realizing business synergies and management efficiencies more effectively.
