[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SEOUL, South Korea – October 21, 2025 – Naver Cloud Corp., the enterprise subsidiary of Naver Corp., announced the official launch of its business collaboration platform ‘LINE WORKS’ (known in Korea as Naver Works) in Taiwan, marking a key step in Naver’s push to expand its global AI-driven enterprise solutions.

Following its successful rollout in Japan in 2016, LINE WORKS has grown into the country’s No. 1 business communication tool for eight consecutive years (2017–2024), serving 590,000 corporate clients including Japan Post Bank, TV Asahi, Mizuho Bank, Sapporo Breweries, and Mizuno. As of January 2025, LINE WORKS had 5.8 million users, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding ¥16 billion (approx. ₩150 billion) — a year-on-year growth rate of around 40%.

In Taiwan, LINE WORKS is positioned as the only enterprise collaboration tool integrated with LINE, the nation’s dominant messaging app with 22 million monthly active users, covering 94% of the population. Naver Cloud has localized the service to comply with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act, adding traditional Chinese language support, NTD-based billing, and local customer service.

The company expects Taiwan’s remote-work and SaaS markets to grow rapidly as enterprises seek secure, paid collaboration tools to protect data and ensure business continuity. Naver Cloud plans to enhance LINE WORKS with advanced AI-powered productivity features, including AI agents capable of automating routine tasks such as email and scheduling, transforming it into an AI-powered work assistant for professionals.

Naver officials said the Taiwan launch will serve as a springboard for broader Southeast Asian expansion and a key reference point for Naver’s global AI platform business under Executive Chairman Lee Hae-jin, who recently returned to his leadership role after eight years.
